About Dr. Kaufman

Dr. Richard Kaufman is a Foot and Ankle Surgeon and Wound Care Specialist Physician who proudly serves the metro Atlanta area. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, a Diplomate of the American Board of Wound Management, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.

Dr. Kaufman subspecializes in management and treatment of complex lower extremity wounds, foot and ankle reconstruction, Charcot foot and ankle deformity and bunion surgery (utilizing the latest three dimensional and minimally invasive techniques). He practices Podiatry in Roswell, GA and at Piedmont Atlanta’s Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center.

In his spare time, Dr. Kaufman enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, along with his extended family in the metro-Atlanta area. He is a passionate alpine skier and loves technology. Dr. Kaufman is accepting new patients and welcomes most major insurance plans and Medicare.
