Atlanta Podiatrists Announce New Upscale Facility In Fayette County

Ankle and Foot Centers of Georgia is pleased to announce that they are building a new facility which will be located in Fayette County, Georgia.

“We’re building this facility because we felt that it was necessary to have a facility with multiple specialties to better serve our patients,” according to Dr. Gregory Alvarez, Ankle and Foot Centers of Georgia Physician.

Ankle And Foot Centers Of Georgia Donates Shoes To Haiti

The Haiti Earthquake brought out a mountain of support from people around the world.  Donations of money, food and medical supplies poured in and overwhelmed the tiny airport at Port au Prince.  But one major necessity that is often overlooked in times of catastrophe and natural disaster is as simple as what we put on our feet – shoes.  Walking over shards of broken glass, concrete and other obstacles can cut and injure feet which could allow infection to set in.  Fortunately, the Ankle and Foot Centers of Georgia stepped in (literally!) to help keep Haitians safe by donating much-needed shoes for all ages.

Atlanta Podiatrists Volunteer For Breast Cancer Awareness Walk

Atlanta Podiatrist Supporting Breast Cancer Awarness

The Atlanta 2 Day Walk For Breast Cancer leaves many walkers with aching feet, blisters, twisted ankles and other ailments, and this year, doctors from Atlanta Ankle And Foot Centers were there to soothe the pain.

Among the volunteers from the Ankle and Foot Center were Dr. Ketan Patel, Dr. Christopher Menke, and surgical tech Joy Hagen. They provided free treatment to the thousands of walkers who poured through the streets of Atlanta to raise money for breast cancer research.
