What Do We Offer At Our Carrollton Podiatry Clinic?
- Custom Orthotics – These shoe inserts are designed specifically for you in order to restore the natural function of your feet. Feet that are strong and stable simply do not have problems. It’s the ones that function poorly that result in conditions such as hammertoes, bunions, arthritic joints, Plantar Fasciitis and even ingrown or thick toenails. Identifying and correcting these mechanical flaws with orthotics addresses the foot as a whole while improving function. Orthotics should also be used to maintain any corrections achieved with surgery or the foot will revert back to functioning abnormally.
- Video Gait Analysis – Anyone experiencing spine or lower extremity pain from weightbearing activity may benefit from this technology. You are video recorded walking or running on a treadmill in order to assess your foot structure, limb alignment, limb flexibility and strength. This visual perspective of your gait cycle provides a dynamic understanding of how your foot functions going beyond a standard clinical exam and/or x-rays. Your complete lower body will undergo a biomechanical evaluation to analyze your movement.
Above all else, we strive to give you a fully functional foot without compromising its structural integrity. The feet remain the foundation of the body and thus have a tremendous role in not only supporting your body but also determining how well the rest of your body works.
