Breast Cancer Walk

Headed by the founder, Dr. Joseph D. Giovinco, Ankle and Foot Centers of Georgia showed in up in great numbers once again to work alongside of It’s the Journey Organization (Atlanta 2 Day Breast Cancer Walk) to do their part in helping to find a cure for breast cancer.
Founded in 2002, It’s the Journey’s Organization mission is to strengthen Atlanta’s breast cancer community by raising money and awareness for local Atlanta organizations that focus on breast cancer education, early detection, awareness and support services, as well as the unmet needs in the breast cancer community.
For the past several years Ankle and Foot Centers of Georgia has taken part in this mission, and this years was no different. Among the volunteers this year were several of our physicians; Dr. Allison Menke, Dr. Gordon Patton, Dr. Ketan B. Patel and Dr.Michael Dombek. Stationed along stops spanning 30 miles our doctors as well as our experienced medical staff were equipped with medical supplies and medicine, to effectively treat blisters, fallen arches, sprained ankles and many more injuries that were incurred during this walk to battle breast cancer. Ankle and Foot Centers of Georgia provided the utmost quality of care; the same outstanding care that is provided to our patients at all 10 of our metro Atlanta our locations.
